Pay Attention Ladies! Fast-food chain KFC has unexpectedly entered the beauty industry with the launch of two flavored nail polishes that are meant to taste as good as its fried chicken.
The limited-edition nail polishes made for KFC Hong Kong come in two flavors, Original Recipe and Hot & Spicy, which are shades of pale nude and fiery orange, respectively.
'This campaign is designed to be intriguing and fun to increase excitement around the KFC brand in Hong Kong,' said by Ogilvy & Mather creative director John Koay.
In order to make nail polish that tastes like the company's famous fried chicken, the marketing company teamed up with the food technologists at the spice company McCormick, which provides KFC with 11 herbs and spices for it's 'secret mix'.
The edible shades are said to be sourced from natural ingredients that are inspired by KFC's two fried chicken recipes.
