STEP 1
Pull your hair back into a mid-high ponytail. Divide it into two sections, and braid one of them into a regular, sleek and nice braid. Secure with a hair elastic – an invisible one, or one in a popping colour.
STEP 2
Braid the other section, but stop halfway and secure with a hair elastic. The half-braid you’ll want a little messier, so pull out some wisps of hair here and there, and use your fingers to gently pull the braid’s loops apart, making the braid slightly wider and looser. If you need some texture, add a little dry shampoo!
STEP 3
Pin the braids up against the back of your head (on opposite sides of the ponytail’s centre.) Wrap the finished braid around the ponytail’s centre, so that you end up with the edges of the braid close to the ponytail’s hair elastic. Secure with hair grips.
